Happy International Women’s Day 2025! On this special day, I would like to celebrate how far we have come. I agree that in the future it would be wonderful if we don’t need a single day to celebrate women as they are celebrated every day with equal pay & opportunities.

This is a photo of my beautiful daughter (16) and I. Thankfully my daughter is so much more confident & empowered than myself at 16 years old.

I left school and started full time work in a bank in the City of London, scared & unsure (and looking like Sandradee from Grease!) I worked hard and sacrificed weekends and evenings to study for banking exams. I’ve come a long way since then. My younger self would not believe that I’m now CEO & Founder of an award winning business Legacy Wealth Advisors, a successful empowerment coach through The Life Academy, an independent director of a listed company British And Malayan Trustees Ltd and a judge of the Financial Times PWM Global Private Banking Awards and ClearView Financial Media’s WealthBriefingAwards.

By sharing my story, I hope to inspire others. Honestly, we have no idea of our own potential. No matter who you are or how daunting the world seems, just dream big and work hard and you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve and who you will be a role model to in the future.
